FAQ
Questions, answered.
Plain answers about the template.
What format is the calendar?
An Excel file (.xlsx) that also opens in Google Sheets and Numbers. Dates use formulas, so keep the Settings tab.
How many pieces does it plan?
Two slots a week for 13 weeks, so up to 26 pieces. Leave slots empty if you publish less often.
How are deadlines calculated?
From the publish date: review is due a day before, the draft before review, and the brief before the draft, using the times in Settings.
Are the example rows real?
They show the format only. Overwrite them with your own plan.
Why do you ask for my email?
So we can send you the link and one short follow-up. There is no newsletter and we never share your email.
Can I use it with a team?
Yes. Upload it to Google Sheets or SharePoint so everyone sees the same statuses.
How often should a B2B company publish SEO content?
Consistency beats volume. One or two strong pieces a week, or even a month, kept up for a year usually beats a burst followed by silence.
What types of content work best for B2B SEO?
Pages that answer buying questions: cost guides, comparisons, use cases, how-to guides, checklists and tools, all linked to service pages.
Should every blog post link to a service page?
Where it genuinely helps the reader, yes. A relevant link from a guide to the matching service page helps both buyers and search engines.
How long should B2B blog posts be?
As long as it takes to answer the question well. Cut padding. Depth comes from specific advice, examples and tools, not word count.
When should we update old content?
When facts, prices or rules change, when rankings slip, or at least yearly for key pages. Show the update date on the page.
How do we measure content performance?
Track impressions, clicks, engaged sessions and leads by landing page, and review which pieces lead to sales conversations.
